Introducing The Activation Practice
72 minutes and counting...
In Anne Jacobsen’s new number one bestseller, Nuclear War, A Scenario, she reveals that if just one nuclear launch - accidental or deliberate - triggered retaliation, 5 billion people could be dead within 72 minutes.
There’s not much you or I can do about that… or is there?
In Power vs Force, David Hawkins writes: “The universe holds its breath as we choose, instant by instant, which pathway to follow; for the universe, the very essence of life itself, is highly conscious. Every act, thought, and choice adds to a permanent mosaic; our decisions ripple through the universe of consciousness to affect the lives of all . . .”
Hawkins’s revelation coupled with Jacobsen’s warning, inspires and compels me, not out of fear but because I love my fellow humans, I love the trees and deer, I love this earth… this compels me to act. But how? Hawkins makes that clear and simple: “…our decisions ripple through the universe of consciousness to affect the lives of all . . .”
Last night someone shot and injured Past President Trump. If you study the video, it’s obvious that he tilted his head a split second before the bullet hit his ear. It could have hit his head had he not turned at that exact moment. I wonder, why did he turn? Who knows what causes any of us to do what we do, intuitively. I vote for at least some influence via the quantum soup we’re all swimming in.
So, what if we embraced this idea and made meticulous, compassionate decision making our priority, the one thing we must always do, acknowledging that “doing the right thing” extends an influence far beyond the immediate.
I call this being “activated.”
For years I’ve played with what seems like a natural progression of practices:
Meditation - entirely internal, to
Mindfulness - local awareness via the senses, to
Activation - consciously expressing qualities to enrich the world, via the quantum field.
Meditation, mindfulness, activation (the new kid on the block).
Activation is a term I invented to describe what millions of us are already doing. In fact, I would venture that our kind presence has always helped to maintain a balance in human affairs, some would say against the odds. Our “ripples,” however small, make a difference.
The rapidly escalating risks that threaten our very survival now call for us to amplify our influence by improving our personal performance and resonating together. There is always power in numbers.
I’ve developed my own activation practice over several years now, to the point where I feel confident to teach others. So, I’m launching an online course, through these posts. It will begin next week and there will be two versions, one for everyone and another with more detail and personalized coaching for paid subscribers.
Please consider upgrading to paid (if you share my sense of urgency and agree that our ripple influence is vitally important). There are skills to learn that can make us more effective. It’s $8 a month and 100% of the funds go into my non-profit foundation. I’ll be directing the $ towards online marketing, connecting individuals and networks that are already doing their version of activation. There is power in numbers.
Imagine, at any moment we could have just 72 minutes to live… should someone somewhere press a button, or some technical glitch occur. That’s sobering. It’s also motivational. What if our ripples made a difference? They do!
I’ll guide you through the first activation practice in this 3-minute video.
