Love Activation
What one person can't do, two or more can.
We officially launched my Activation initiative yesterday with a small circle of friends at a friend’s home. Our time was deeply confirming of the positive influence so many of us are already bringing with our every day transmission of love in all it’s many forms. And, we learned some new skills.
As some of you know, I’ve envisioned a natural progression through meditation and mindfulness to a third practice which I’ve called Activation, a turning outward to uplift our environment, physically present or via consciousness. I created a map to attempt some sort of depiction of how activation works. I hope it’s readable on your screen. If not, here’s a link you can use to download it:
We discussed the choice point in the Activation Zone, turning right to cycle back into rest or denial, or turning left into Arising, being Active, and achieving Peak Experiences. What I love about this model is that there’s no right and wrong. We can go our own way and mix it up over time.
But, there’s a clear opportunity to choose Arising over Regressing. This depends on our willingness to question what we believe. Those stuck in the survival cycle settle for old beliefs and repeat behaviors, usually while complaining that they want things to be different. Those who push the UP button by choosing to Arise, do so because they begin to question what they believe. They honor their natural curiosity and let it take them into the unknown. That can be scary, which is why so many of us hesitate.
We talked about the trap of the spiritual bypass, cycling around endlessly on the right side of this spiral, refusing to face darkness, denying the existence of evil, focusing only on “the light” and settling for what I call “life light.”
That’s like Bud Light, not a real beer. Life Life, not a real life.
The trap on the other side relates to complacency, being OK with the way things are, refusing to question, just going along with the official narrative, either your own personal one of the one we’re spoon fed by MSM (MainStreamMedia).
MSM would have us believe that the world is disintegrating … fast. If we don’t elect this person or that person, all will be lost. This is the typical disempowerment program that engages us in one of three positions on the Drama Triangle: victim, villain, or savior. The standard playbook is to cast us as victims, point fingers at the villains we should hate, and hail the savior we should elect / follow.
It’s an old, proven formula. We break out of it when we prioritize our own expression. We get activated. We make sure that our every moment is magic, that we stay totally present here and now, with whoever we are with, resonating together at a high frequency level.
Christ said, “Where two or more are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst.” This is a fascinating formula, revealing a great secret. When you and I resonate on the level of love and compassion, it radiates throughout the whole quantum field, touching everyone and everything. There’s something significant about this communion… what one person can’t do, two or more can do.
Our contribution may seem small but it carries a homeopathic potency. And small can be powerful. After all, splitting the atom releases immense energy. Our tiny moments of blessing - caring for a friend, praying when a disaster occurs - this may seem inconsequential but it all adds up. I like to think that our accumulating transmission can reach a tipping point that results in a significant influence. Boom!
Are you activated? Actually, we agreed today that it’s better to think of ourselves as verbs rather than nouns. That turns this into “Are you activating?” What a fundamental change, to identify as energy in action rather than a human, feeling small and powerless.
We did a Love Casting exercise, focusing attention on someone in our circle and saying “I care about (their name).” The silence that followed was intense. As we reflected afterwards, it’s immensely healing to feel loved for who we are, not for anything we’ve done.
Meditation, mindfulness, activation. If you’d like more information on this new practice, just shoot me an email at will@willtwilkinson.com. And thanks for your quantum contributions, however seemingly insignificant.
Every loving moment counts.
