The First A Team Assignment
Welcome to our pilot mission together.
Divide and conquer has always been the go-to strategy employed by elites to maintain control. They polarize citizens against each other. That happened before the election and it’s happening after the election. Some of us are weeping, some of us are celebrating, but the house always wins. We’re divided, that’s the objective.
Enter The A Team. A stands for “activation.” We don’t bother with that nonsense. Regardless of who we voted for and how we may feel about the outcome, we’ve taken our stand and it’s an elevated one, high above the polarization. We’ve activated our creating power, expressing the qualities we’d like to see flourish in the future we prefer. Hate is not one of them. As within, so without.
But we also confront the truth.
Let’s say that someone is terrified about a so-called modern day Hitler becoming President. They hate that person. Well, they can point accusing fingers but the hate is coming from them and they’re justifying their judgement with speculation. They might even prove their case. They’re still hating.
Just a few days before this election, former President Barack Obama recited the well-known claim that President Trump said there were very fine people on both sides of the Charlottesville riot. Trump did say this. But he also said that his comment didn’t refer to neo-Nazi’s, the KKK, and white supremacists who he condemned.
Obama ignored that. He insisted that Trump said something vile that he didn’t say. Obama lied. He knew he lied. And this lie has been repeated over and over and over by politicians and media and believers to warp public perception of Trump into a would be Hitler … even though what Trump actually said - the opposite - is on tape and the lie has been officially debunked.
The relentless repetition of this lie for seven years reveals how they feel. They don’t believe there are very fine people on both sides. Hillary Clinton called Trump supporters “a basket of deplorables.” President Biden called them “garbage.” That’s an attack on over half of the voters in America. Meanwhile, Trump said, with that qualification, that there were very fine people on both sides. Who’s the hateful bigot?
Sadly, this lie - plus so many others - has been used to polarize us, to divide and conquer us. Remember that Buffalo Springfield lyric: “Something’s happenin’ here, what it is ain’t exactly clear… nobody’s right if everybody’s wrong.”
The A Team actually does what certain politicians claim to do but utterly fail to deliver: to go high while others go low. BTW, that’s another deceitful strategy, to do the exact opposite of what’s claimed and then take credit, like for telling the truth. Here’s how we will actually do what we’re saying we’ll do:
We refuse to polarize by prioritizing our connection to the one power source that is activating us all. We really are one!
We flow that power through our thoughts, feelings, words, and actions.
We engage with the chaos and uncertainty around us, exuding a calm confidence.
We own our experience, we learn what we need to learn, we support others to be sovereign, humble, grateful, and creative.
What we express from the inside will inevitably take form as our future experience. That could be the greatest secret about reality ever, hiding in plain sight, and it’s true for every one of us! So, this becomes our 24/7 priority, taking 100% personal responsibility for our words, our thoughts, our actions.
This means that we’re not complaining about what happened. We’re not mounting a resistance to what we fear might happen. We’re not demonizing others. We are accepting the facts, not the lies, just as they are and we’re concentrating our creative power to create with non-judgmental qualities like forgiveness and compassion.
How do we pull this off? The key resides in 1. above. We can’t give what we don’t have. So, if we really care about this country and our fellows as much as we say we do, our urgent priority must become to deepen our connection with God. That’s where the power for good comes from, not from our beliefs, opinions, and self righteousness.
But that connection isn’t made in our heads. Our hearts need to get involved. We’ve got to feel it. We’ve got to be grateful to something higher than ourselves. As that hymn proclaims: “Praise God from whom all blessings flow.”
Those more comfortable with science words can substitute “natural intelligence,” to describe the power that runs everything. I know some of my readers are Christians, or devotees of other faiths. Some are atheists, some are agnostics, some are just confused. Something, by whatever name, is running all this and when we acknowledge it, when we actually feel it, when we humble ourselves before it because we deeply know that there is something higher than our human selves, everything changes.
We have faith. We know that God is not making mistakes. Not even with this election. BTW, if we do believe there’s been a mistake, that’s a clue that we’ve lost our connection with what’s higher. We’re struggling in flat land, where there’s no authority beyond our own desires.
Without some kind of authority, society disintegrates. We see this happening now. Want to enter this country without following the established immigration laws? No problem, we’ll give you money and a place to live. Want to change your body with surgery to become a different gender? No problem, and we’ll put your parents in jail if they object. Want to use a pronoun? Great, and if your teacher refuses to use it then they’ll go to jail too.
Anything goes when authority is rejected, and the ultimate rejection is the rejection of God. Do whatever you want and if someone objects, for instance, if they won’t let you play sports with women because you’re a man, they must be sexist. And/or they’re a fascist. The result, a God-less world where every spurious whim is accommodated.
I came up with two words to describe what this election means from my pov: “Daddy’s home.”
Remember how it felt as a youngster to get caught failing to do something you promised you’d do? Clean up your room, wash the car, do your homework, etc. Suddenly you heard dad at the front door. “Oh no!” That’s the feeling for many overpaid officials in corrupt departments of the government right now. Daddy’s home. He’s going to make me clean up this mess. The era of anything goes is ending.
Well, this guy must be Hitler! He must be a dictator. He’ll end democracy!
Meanwhile, we acknowledge and respect the highest authority. We’ll let whatever “it” is continue to beat our hearts and steer the stars and sort out the embarrassment of mismanagement that’s been destroying this county, thank you very much! This is a new day of accountability.
Most of all, we refuse to polarize. We hold the high watch. We pray without ceasing, grateful for this gift of life, and we let what we receive from “above” flow through us into the world.
Four good friends just disowned me over what I recently wrote in this Substack. One said, “Had I known all this about you, I would have cut you out of my life a long time ago. Good riddance dude. I have no desire to see you.”
This man remains loved and welcomed in my heart. Just because he chooses hate over love doesn’t mean that I should. And I don’t need to change him or “save” him. True prayer is a no-strings-attached practice. “Thy will be done…”
That’s where I’ll leave us today, with this invitation to elevate above the fray and provide a stabilizing presence. People are afraid. Well, “perfect love casts out fear.” Let’s bring that perfect love, unconditional love (including love for those who voted differently than we did). Refuse to be divided. Refuse to be conquered.
And bravo to those who are called in other directions. Certainly what The A Team can do is just one small piece of the puzzle. Meanwhile, attorneys are suing, whistleblowers are talking, ordinary people are refusing to be compliant with callous overlords drunk on power. This country is turning around, 180 degrees, right at the brink of a precipice. We’ll do our small but essential part.
I just received an urgent message from my friend Jeffrey who lives with his family in Jerusalem. He wrote, “Something is happening here that's a little overwhelming. I think the situation here is calling for a higher level of enfoldment. I hope you can join us…” Jeffrey holds peace vigils and does deep prayer work, a tremendous service in that part of the world. He welcomes my participation and I welcome yours. Here is what he told me:
“The area to work with is a border between Israel and Lebanon, here are the coordinates along it. Start: 33°05'47"N 35°06'16"E, middle: 33°05'38"N 35°29'02,"end: 33°24'54"N 35°50'52"E.”
Note those coordinates and affirm this blessing: “I pray for peace in this area and that all present awaken to the Love that unites us all.” Repeat as often as you can. Our subconscious will do the rest.
Never has the need for the authority of Love coming into our world through human beings been more urgent. Can enough of us who understand the truth of these things rise up at this time and hold a steady focus while all the fussing and fretting plays out? Of course, there are decisions to make, choices to ponder, but right now it’s first aid time and that means love, love, love. In whatever way is natural for you. 24/7.
Let’s pour it on, my friends! And remember, what one person can’t do, two or more can do!

You’re absolutely right, Will. Right on message. I am the light of the world. Let me shine my light of love, and there is no darkness of hate or divisiveness. We are one indivisible nation under God. Thank you. 🌈❤️🙏
Right On, Will. Right On. You said it all. You said it well. Thank You.
