Being the change we wish to see in the world
Recently, someone told me about a story they’d love to see in print (as a professional writer, I get that a lot, often with a request to help). This story involved murder, loose morals, and tragedy. I asked: “So, what would a book about all this bring into the world?”
My question landed like a lead balloon.
It’s a good question to ask about everything we express. Am I bringing love, peace, forgiveness? Or am I bringing drama, maybe even hatred?
It’s one of the great puzzles of our current time, to me, that so many people who’ve professed to be loving, even championing the concept of unconditional love, have become so hateful. They justify it by blaming the target of their animosity, as if more hate is the remedy to stop/heal/eliminate haters.
In Power vs. Force, Dr. David R. Hawkins presents a consciousness scale that calibrates human emotions and behaviors from low to high frequencies, ranging from shame (20) to enlightenment (700–1000). According to Hawkins, individuals operating at high levels of consciousness—such as love (500), joy (540), and peace (600)—naturally neutralize and uplift lower frequencies without direct confrontation. This influence is measurable; for example, Hawkins posits that one person vibrating at 700 (enlightenment) counterbalances 70 million people at levels below 200 (the threshold of integrity). The presence of high-frequency individuals subtly shifts environments toward harmony, often without a word spoken, because true power radiates silently and magnetically, unlike force, which requires resistance to exist.
I pause every day at noon to consciously radiate unconditional love. I invite you to do the same; just set your watch/phone. There are people doing this every day all over the world. I wrote a book about it, available here. This is a good habit to cultivate because that brief moment expands to become a norm throughout the day.

Thanks Stan. Indeed, how do we respond to hatred? Surely not with more hate! Considering other points of view help us expand our understanding.
Who knows? What comforts me is to make it all personal. I'm responsible for myself. So, I commit to a high frequency expression, assuming that can help others, but very sure that it helps me. Creating heaven on earth? That's a reach. Creating a next level experience we might call heaven, post death? Entirely possible. My responsibility to create that.
