Will, what you've written is EXACTLY on my wavelength. You and I have probably spent time together over a few thousand lives (give or take) so it's not surprising. I feel every bit as passionate as you are about being on the God Path. So let's just allow ourselves to be humble, and leave it to the Highest Power to call the shots.
BTW Gary's comment is spot on. As I write Bill Nighy is in contention for an Oscar.
Yesterday at this cozy avant garde like movie theater(25 seats) called the Tin Pan Theater in Bend, Oregon, I saw a movie called Living. It is an unknown gem. It speaks to "anything and everything " is possible and "gather ye rosebuds while thee may". At almost 81 now, the realization of a finite precious human birth, is driving me to follow the life of the protagonist in this film, Will.
Beautiful Don, thanks!
Quiet the Noise
Great storms cross the ocean,
rivers rise, valleys flood
and some forget
the value of peace.
Machines grow louder,
the hunger for war increases,
yet these are the times
for deep reaching faith.
Soften to her beauty,
decide enough
is what you have
and join the humble
who worship in silence.
Well said John. Great to walk this path with you! We've probably put in a few million miles together!
